Websites for Wrexham businesses

Wrexham is North Wales' biggest town. Tŷ Pawb, the 1848 Butchers' Market, Wrexham Lager and Erddig all sit on the high street.

Wrexham is the largest town in North Wales. The high street runs from the bus station past the Grade II listed Butchers' Market — designed by Thomas Penson and trading since 1848 — and into Tŷ Pawb, the arts and market hub that took over the old People's Market on Market Street. Erddig Hall sits two miles south, Wrexham Lager is brewed in the town, and Wrexham AFC play at the Racecourse Ground. The bus and rail links into Chester, Liverpool and Shrewsbury keep it well connected, and most of the work I do is on the streets in between.

Working with Wrexham

Wrexham's high street leans heavily on independents. The Butchers' Market and Tŷ Pawb on Market Street together hold most of the small traders, and the Leader's round-up of fifteen independents in the city centre listed names like 4th Planet Games and P.H.Whale on Bank Street, Martin Rees jeweller on Chester Street, and a clutch of stalls inside Tŷ Pawb — Personal Present People, Ann's Colourful Craft Designs, Refill-osaurus, Wrexham Trainer Revival, House of Retro and Siop Siwan. Wrexham BID represents over 500 levy-paying businesses across the centre. The town has a working brewery in Wrexham Lager, a National Trust property at Erddig, and a long industrial estate on the eastern edge. Most of the work I do here is tradesmen, cafés and small retailers who want somewhere clean to point customers from their van or their Instagram.

Every Wrexham site is hand-coded, mobile-first, and shipped on its own domain. There's nothing for you to maintain — hosting, SSL, backups, updates and small content edits are all in the £25/month plan. You'll deal directly with me from brief to launch, by email or WhatsApp, in plain English.

Every Wrexham brief lands somewhere on the same map of shops, salons, trades and indie operators. Here are some of the real Wrexham businesses I've researched while writing this page — the kind of place a clean £25/month site is built for.

Wrexham BID represents over 500 levy-paying businesses across the town centre.

FAQs

Wrexham web design — common questions

Do you build sites for tradesmen and small retailers in Wrexham?

+

Yes — that's most of the work I do across LL11 to LL14. Plumbers, electricians, joiners, dog groomers, cafés, takeaways and independent shops. You get a hand-coded site on your own domain, hosting included, and a flat £25 a month with no setup fee.

Will you set up or manage our Wrexham Google Business Profile?

+

No — and that's deliberate. I don't do GBP setup, claims, or ongoing management. I focus on the website itself: design, hosting, edits, on-page basics. If you need a local marketer for GBP, I can point you to one.

Can you help my Wrexham business rank higher on Google?

+

No. I don't offer SEO, link building, or keyword strategy, and I don't promise first-page rankings. What I do build is a fast, hand-coded site with sensible titles and descriptions — the kind of page that loads quickly and is easy to share on a van or an Instagram bio.

What about a new page or section after the Wrexham site goes live?

+

Small edits — a new phone number, a price change, a swapped photo, a new line of text — I'll usually turn around the same day on the £25/month plan. Adding whole new pages or sections is a separate piece of work and not part of the monthly fee.

Do you do SEO, blogs, or Google Business Profile?

+

No — and that's deliberate. The £25/month plan is for a clean, quick website on its own domain, with the basic on-page SEO sorted (sensible page titles, descriptions, fast loads). It is not a marketing package. If you want someone to actively manage your Google Business Profile, run a blog, or chase rankings, this isn't the right service — I'd rather say so upfront.
