Questions? Answered.
Everything people usually ask — the monthly plan, the autumn £99 deal, student portfolios, and how a build actually works. Anything else, just message me.
Monthly plan — common questions
What does £25 a month actually cover?
+
Your own URL, the domain registered in your name, UK hosting, an SSL certificate, daily backups, software updates, basic on-page SEO, and small content edits whenever you need them (a new phone number, a price tweak, a new photo). I reply to you by the next working day, every time.
Is there a setup fee?
+
No. The first £25 covers the build. You don't pay anything else to get started.
Can I cancel any month?
+
Yes. There's no contract. Cancel any month and the site stays live until the end of that month. You keep the domain — it's registered in your name, transferrable any time.
Do I own the domain name?
+
Always. It's registered in your name, with you as the legal owner. If you ever want to take it to another provider, you can — no questions, no fees.
What if I need a small change later?
+
Send the request over WhatsApp or email. A new photo, a tweaked price, a swapped phone number — small changes are on me, usually turned around the same day. That's it. If you want to add a brand new section or a totally new page after we've agreed the original brief, we can talk about it, but it's not part of the £25 plan.
How long does the build take?
+
Most sites are live in 1–2 weeks from when I receive your bundle. The fastest was two days; the longest was three weeks for a more involved brief.
Autumn £99 deal — common questions
What do I actually get for £99?
+
A one-page landing / squeeze page for your side hustle: what you sell or offer, prices, photos, contact details, links to Instagram / TikTok / booking or DMs. Think link-in-bio, but a proper page you own that pushes people to message or book. Hand-coded, fast, looks right on a phone. Paid once, handed over.
Is this a squeeze page or a full website?
+
A squeeze-style landing page: one focused page with a single job — turn profile visits into DMs, bookings or sales. No blog, no shop, no 10-page site. Just everything someone needs to trust you and contact you, on your own domain.
What happens with the domain and hosting after launch?
+
I cover the first-year domain cost and set everything up. After that the domain and hosting are yours to renew (roughly £10–£15 a year for a .co.uk plus basic hosting). I'll message you before renewal — if I don't hear back, the site is closed down. No surprise bills from me.
Do I get changes and support afterwards?
+
I'm always a message away — if something breaks or you need a hand, message me. Small fixes around launch are included. Ongoing monthly content edits aren't included in the £99.
Who looks after the site after handover?
+
You do — it's yours from day one. I set everything up and cover the first-year domain cost. After that you renew the domain and hosting yourself each year, and I'll message you before renewal.
How long does it take?
+
Most autumn builds are live in 1–2 weeks from when I get your photos, prices and contact details. Send the bundle fast and it can be days.
When does the deal end?
+
30 November 2026. After that the page comes down.
How builds work — common questions
How long does a build take?
+
Most sites are live in 1–2 weeks from when I receive your bundle. The fastest was two days; the longest was three weeks for a more involved brief.
What if I haven't got much to send you?
+
That's fine. Send what you have — even just a few phone photos and your phone number is enough to start. I can help you write the rest, or you can fill it in later.
What if I need a small change after launch?
+
Small changes are on me. A new phone number, a price tweak, a swapped photo, a new line of text — send it over WhatsApp or email, usually back to you the same day.
What if I want something bigger changed after we've agreed the brief?
+
Once we've agreed the brief, the £25/month plan covers the site as it is. If you want a brand new section, a new page, a booking system, a shop — that's a different conversation, and we'd talk about it before I do anything.
Do you write the copy?
+
Yes, if you want. I can write clear, plain-English copy for a tradesperson, a café, a freelancer, a one-person business. It comes back to you to edit — I don't have the voice of a copywriter, I just don't use jargon.
Student portfolios — common questions
Is it really £49 once?
+
Yes. £49 paid once by bank transfer, the page is yours from the day it goes live. No monthly bill, no annual renewal, no surprise invoice.
Where will my page live?
+
On the studio at camerondesign.website/portfolio/yourname. You can paste it into a CV, a job application, a DM, a LinkedIn feature. If you ever want it on your own .com instead, that's an optional add-on.
What do I get?
+
Your own clean URL, a homepage with a short bio and contact details, as many project cards as you need, links to LinkedIn / GitHub / email. Mobile-first, fast, looks right on a phone.
Can I edit it myself afterwards?
+
Yes. I do a short walkthrough after handover — swap a project, update your bio, change a photo. No code, no CMS to learn. WhatsApp me if you get stuck.
How long does it take?
+
Most student portfolios are live in under a week once I have your stuff.
