Working with Richmond
Be Richmond, the town-centre BID, runs on a levy from local firms and works with the council on footfall, cleaning and events. The economy is overwhelmingly small: most of the businesses on George Street and Hill Street are owner-operated — bakeries like Swiss Bread and The Bakehouse, delis, and the long-running Real Cheese Shop — plus hairdressers, plumbers, electricians, solicitors and accountants. Property and professional services lean on the borough's affluence and its rail links into Waterloo. Tourism is a constant undercurrent, driven by Richmond Park's deer, the Theatre on Little Green, and Hampton Court Palace. Most firms don't need a brochure site — they need a clean one-page site and a way to be found.
Every Richmond site is hand-coded, mobile-first, and shipped on its own domain. There's nothing for you to maintain — hosting, SSL, backups, updates and small content edits are all in the £25/month plan. You'll deal directly with me from brief to launch, by email or WhatsApp, in plain English.
