Working with Northampton
The shoemaking industry is still the headline — Crockett & Jones on the Eastfield estate (founded 1879, still Goodyear-welted), John White Shoes, Loake, Church's, Trickers, Barker and Grenson all still have Northampton factories or finishing rooms. Alongside that sits a long tail of trades — electricians and builders out on the Brackmills and Moulton Park estates, the usual cluster of cafés and salons on Abington Street, and the Park Café in Abington Park. The Market Square still hosts regular street markets under the 1235 Henry III charter. Northampton BID represents the town-centre levy payers and runs the discovernorthampton.co.uk business directory. West Northamptonshire Council signed the Greyfriars development deal with Muse and ECF in late 2025 — a multi-year regeneration that will bring new homes, an amphitheatre and a chunk of retail. Albert's Yard, on the old M&S and BHS site, is being built out at the same time.
Every Northampton site is hand-coded, mobile-first, and shipped on its own domain. There's nothing for you to maintain — hosting, SSL, backups, updates and small content edits are all in the £25/month plan. You'll deal directly with me from brief to launch, by email or WhatsApp, in plain English.
