Working with Lewisham
Lewisham Council's 2021 High Street Survey tracked the mix of independent and chain businesses on the high street, and the centre came out independent-heavy, with very few nationals on the high street itself. The Lewisham Market on the High Street is run by the council and has been trading for over a century, the Lewisham Shopping Centre brings in the chain anchors like Matalan and Iceland, and Loampit Vale is a small parade of takeaways and trade units running off the roundabout. Most of the SE13 economy is genuinely small — cafés, salons, takeaways, tradesmen and a few long-standing independents like The Fox & Firkin on Lewisham High Street and Maggie's Cafe on Lewisham Road. With around 1,700 new homes now approved on the shopping-centre site, footfall and demand for small services are set to grow.
Every Lewisham site is hand-coded, mobile-first, and shipped on its own domain. There's nothing for you to maintain — hosting, SSL, backups, updates and small content edits are all in the £25/month plan. You'll deal directly with me from brief to launch, by email or WhatsApp, in plain English.
