Derry web design — common questions

Do you build sites for tradesmen and small retailers in Derry?

Yes — that's the bulk of the work. Plumbers, electricians, joiners, dog groomers, cafés, takeaways and independent shops on both sides of the Foyle. You get a hand-coded site on your own domain, hosting included, and a flat £25 a month with no setup fee.

Will you set up or manage a Google Business Profile for me?

No — and that's deliberate. The £25/month plan covers a hand-coded site, hosting, SSL, backups and small day-to-day content edits. Google Business Profile, SEO campaigns, paid ads and social media management aren't services I offer, so I don't promise them.

Can you work with businesses on both sides of the Foyle — BT47 and BT48?

Yes. I cover the Walled City, the Waterside, BT47 and BT48. The £25/month plan, the 1-2 week turnaround and what's included don't change with postcode. Most of the briefs I get come from Shipquay Street and the surrounding lanes anyway.

What about adding new pages or sections after the site goes live?

Small text and photo swaps — a new phone number, a price change, a swapped photo — are included any time, usually back the same day. Adding brand new pages or sections is a separate conversation and a separate quote; it's not part of the monthly fee.

Do you do SEO, blogs, or Google Business Profile?

No — and that's deliberate. The £25/month plan is for a clean, quick website on its own domain, with the basic on-page SEO sorted (sensible page titles, descriptions, fast loads). It is not a marketing package. If you want someone to actively manage your Google Business Profile, run a blog, or chase rankings, this isn't the right service — I'd rather say so upfront.
